Overview
Charlotte joined Chambers in October 2022 following successful completion of her specialist Child Law pupillage under the supervision of Libby Harris.
Since 2025, Charlotte has specialised exclusively in care proceedings. Charlotte regularly represents local authorities, parents, children (both through their guardians and separately represented) and intervenors. Charlotte is regularly instructed in complex cases involving sexual abuse and non-accidental injury and has experience conducting multi-day fact-finding and final hearings both independently and with a leader.
Charlotte is known for her personable and pragmatic approach, even in the most challenging cases.

Bristol City Council v A Mother & Ors [2024] EWFC 333 – Led by Alice Darian, represented the children in a complex fact-finding hearing where findings against the mother in respect of serious injuries to an older child were re-opened and overturned following a younger child suffering several fractures when in the care of her father in a residential centre. https://caselaw.nationalarchives.gov.uk/ewfc/2024/333
