In private law cases, Rob has experience of representing parties at all hearings. His experience includes multi-day fact-finding hearings and final hearings and cases involving allegations of abuse and capacity issues.
In public law cases, Rob frequently represents Local Authorities and parents at all hearings. Rob has negotiated a number of successful outcomes for clients both at the First Appointment and at the Financial Dispute Resolution Appointment.
Rob consistently receives positive feedback from clients on his attention to detail, care, and ability to explain and advise in complex cases in plain and simple terms.
Rob is keen to encourage the next generation of aspiring Barristers into the career. At his previous Chambers, Rob was Head of Mini-Pupillage. He is also a mentor for law students at the University of East Anglia. Rob has frequently judged mooting and mock trial competitions.
In his spare time, Rob enjoys reacquainting himself with the local area with his family. He also enjoys following American college football and is an avid fan of the Alabama Crimson Tide following his year abroad in the state during his Law degree.
