Kate Brunner QC represented Keith Young, owner of Youngs Demolition, instructed by BLM’s Matthew Harrington and Francesca LoSardo, leading Malcolm Galloway. Mr Young was acquitted of Gross Negligence Manslaughter and a Section 3 Health & Safety offence arising from the Splott Church Collapse in Cardiff. A 10-week trial took place at the Swansea Nightingale Court before Mrs Justice Jefford in which Albion Chambers’ Adam Vaitilingam QC, instructed by Morgan LaRoche, secured an acquittal for a co-defendant. On 2 March Keith Young received a suspended sentence for a regulatory breach.
